Dennis and Janet Bryant

Dear Jack and Carole-Melissa-Nicholas and Michael,
The loss of a son, the loss of a husband, the loss of a father -just saying / typing it brings an overwhelming feeling of loss, grief, sadness and lonliness. There are not enough words to express my sorrow for your loss. Please remember that all of you are and will be in our prayers from now on. Nicholas and Michael, when I was little, both my parents told me how they had each lost their father when they were 10-11 years old. I never forgot that. What a loss! You will both be in my prayers especially.
Dennis and Janet Bryant (Midlothian, TX)

As so many others have mentioned, Jack was a class act. We worked together briefly & it was always a pleasure when Jack came into the office. He was a true professional & obviously a good man. Jack once told me he ran into a very talkative co-worker @ Marc's. He had an armful of groceries & she talked & talked & talked. He was too polite to tell her his groceries were getting heavy. After he told me about Marc's, I said, "How do you think my brother feels?" He looked puzzled, so I said, "You didn't know she's married to my brother?". His face got beet red & he apologized over & over. After that, we must have laughed for 10 minutes. I know he was embarrassed, but I kept telling him that he needn't be -- she could talk for 3 hours --- it was no secret. That incident popped in my head as soon as I saw his picture. I had forgotten what a wonderful smile he had. God blessed us all when He sent Jack here.
Laurie J (Westlake, OH)

Nancy Brown (Hohman)

Dear Jack and Carole,
God's perfect timing is often hard to swallow, but His reasons for bringing his children home to be with him in Paradise have been prepared from all eternity. Your son is the happiest of your family now, but he is not able to show you that, except through faith. My prayer is for every member of your family to be strengthened in faith as you come together at this terribly difficult time.
Nancy Brown (Hohman) (Willowick, OH)

Andrea Jackson

My prayers to the Singer family. Jack was a true professional at Tuthill and it is with great sadness to say farewell for now.
Andrea Jackson (Broadview Heights, OH)

Cheryl Woelfl Kimble

What a incredible shock to find that Jack has been taken at such a young age. You family is in my prayers. The picture you selected is a testament to that happy go lucky guy with the broad smile! Having known Jack since Kindergarten, it is a terrible reminder of how we lose touch with many wonderful friends over the years. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that his life will live on through your children Missy and that you were able to have a best friend as a husband. God Bless. Cheryl Woelfl Kimble

Dear Missy and Family,
I am so terribly sorry to hear about your loss. From the daycare that Nicholas and Michael went to (and that I worked at) I remember what a wonderful and caring father Jack was to your sons. I enjoyed seeing your family at church and have several times commented to my husband that you and Jack have raised two very well behaved sons. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jack's passing. May God grant you all peace and comfort....my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Mike Burke

Missy,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. While I am saddened that I am on the other side of the continent at this time, Stacey told me how many people were present to support you and your family. Jack was loved by all, and had so many friends and family members that cherish his friendship. He will be missed, but as you know, he will be with you and the kids forever. We will be thinking and praying for you all.
Mike, Stacey, and the Burke family.
